Madrona Scrip
The school fundraising program that works while you shop
Script means “substitute money,” but in this case think of it as a gift card that can be used at many popular retailers. Bottom line: You earn Madrona crucial funds just by purchasing stuff you already are going to buy!
How it works
Madrona buys gift cards at a discount (2% – 15%), either directly from the retailer or from a national scrip broker. You buy the cards at face value (what you normally would pay – dollar for dollar) and the school gets to keep the difference to fund many of Madrona’s activities and to purchase supplies for students and teachers.
Where and When to buy
- On Site - At the scrip table located in front of the main office Monday, Wednesday and Friday (on Thursday if no school on Friday) between 9:00AM and 9:45AM. Grab the order form here. We will be accepting Check or Cash. Please drop forms off in the MIT box in the school Office.
- Order Online – At ShopwithScrip.com. You can pay with a check or use your checking or savings account through Shopwithscrip.com’s PrestoPay. Use Madrona’s enrollment number – LAA4LEL65383, so that Madrona gets credit for the sale.
- Drop-Off – You can drop-off your order form and payment in the MIT box in the office and your order will be filled.
- Credit Cards – We are NOT accepting credit cards at this time
MIT hopes to make $14,000 this year from this vital fundraiser.
