We are down to the final two days to collect nominations for open MIT Board positions. We need at least one person to run for each open position. All positions must be filled for MIT to continue. Please help us out. Joining the board is a great way to give back to our Madrona community. You get to see some of the inner workings of the school. You get to help make decisions about how our teachers and students are supported. And you make friends. Training will be provided. Time commitments vary depending on the position. Please see the individual job descriptions for more information.
I know that it is difficult to think about extra things to do to support at school right now. At this point we are assuming we will be back in school in the fall. I’m asking that you dig deep and consider stepping up. Without MIT, our students won’t have a Back-to-School BBQ, Bear Scare, Madrona Children’s Theater Production, STEM Night, Book Fair or thousands of dollars for our teachers to put into their classrooms. We are the Madrona Integrated TEAM. We can’t do our work without the TEAM. Please help us. Thank you.
