MIT

You are here:

Madrona Integrated Team (MIT) is a non-profit, charitable corporation whose purpose is to support and enhance the experience of Madrona School students by sponsoring educational and related family programs, as well as enrichment activities for our students. It is similar to a PTA, but operates as its own non-profit and is not affiliated with the PTA. There is no fee to join; all Madrona students, staff, teachers and parents are automatically members. MIT is run by an elected volunteer board of directors and is responsible for raising money for use in the classrooms and throughout school as well as for creating a community through events.

MIT Motto – MIT + Students = Success

Students coined this phrase in 2024 and MIT adopted it. We truly believe that the success of our students is greatly improved by all of the volunteers we get at Madrona.

MIT Mission

The primary purpose of MIT is to provide support and aids ensuring that the education experience at Madrona School is enriched.

The objectives for MIT are:

  1. To promote the welfare of Madrona’s children and parents in home, school and community.
  2. To develop a united effort between Madrona’s educators and Madrona’s parents to secure for all Madrona’s children the highest advantages.
  3. To support educational and other family programs and enrichment activities aimed at improving the academic, social, and physical growth of our children.
