Madrona’s spook-tacular fall celebration, Bear Scare, is just one week away! Featuring games, music, pizza, a Haunted House, Pumpkin-Carving Contest, candy crafts, cookie decorating, and fun activities for Madrona bears of all ages — not to mention hundreds of your fellow students decked out in the coolest costumes around — it’s Madrona’s biggest party of the year!
Starting Oct. 21, and continuing throughout the week leading up to Bear Scare on Oct. 25, pre-sales will be available for both tickets and pizza, allowing you to both avoid the lines at Bear Scare, and save money to boot! Tickets are $5 per child if purchased in advance and $7 at the door (adults are free), while pizza (Garlic Jim’s) is $3 for one slice and a drink, $5 for two slices and a drink, or $18 to have a whole pizza ready for you on-site (including gluten-free!). Don’t stress about dinner; instead, let Bear Scare feed the whole family!
Best of all, this year’s pre-order process is easier than ever! Just print and complete the attached flyer and either bring it to school, or send it with your child, the week of Bear Scare, Oct. 21-25. Orders will be accepted before and after school each day — you can even order from your car after school up until the point the final bell rings!
And, for the first time ever, we can take credit cards (for a $1 additional fee) in addition to cash or check! Finally, remember that 100 percent of the Bear Scare proceeds go right back into our students through MIT programs.
So, don’t wait in line at Bear Scare — make plans to pre-order and save!
