We hope everyone is having a great summer.  Preparations are underway for our return to school, and we need your help!

Campus Cleanup: August 17th and 19th

While the school district gardening crew has spent many hours at Madrona, they do not have enough time to do all the work needed on our beautiful green campus.  Come help pull weeds and do some minor pruning on Thursday, August 17th and Saturday, August 19th, 10am-2pm both days.  Please sign up here so we know who is coming and can contact you if plans change.

Outdoor Table Assembly

Dr. Castilleja has purchased several tables so our students can enjoy lunch outdoors in the Madrona Courtyard.  He has already assembled three of the tables and says it’s very easy.  He needs help with the remaining tables on Saturday, August 19th.  Please sign up here. Upcoming Dates

Back to School BBQ, Thursday, August 31st, 4-6pm

Join us on the Madrona track for a back to school BBQ on August 31st 4-6pm.  Meet and greet with our principal, teachers, students and parents.  Hot dogs, hamburgers and chips provided, with veggie burgers and gluten free bun options.  Just bring chairs or a blanket and your own drinks.

Welcome Back Coffee, September 6th and 11th, 9:30am

Drop the kids off and celebrate the first day of school with coffee and treats in the Madrona Commons.  Wednesday, September 6th for 1st-8th grade families and Monday, September 11th for Kindergarten families.

Volunteer Fair and MIT Meeting, Monday, September 18th 5:30pm

Get your volunteer photo badge picture taken and learn about the opportunities to help at Madrona during the Volunteer Fair at 5:30pm on Monday, September 18th.  Stay for the MIT meeting at 6:30pm (zoom option also available).
